The Block’s Rachel Carr suffers an emotional breakdown and bursts into tears: ‘I’m not feeling great’

The Block’s Rachel Carr surprised viewers with a shock confession on Sunday night’s episode.

The 36-year-old revealed she felt her renovation work wasn’t up to par with the other blockheads, and she was struggling to shake her ‘defeatist attitude’.

‘I’m not feeling great. I’m probably at the lowest state I have been in over this six weeks. I don’t feel like I’m doing a good job,’ she admitted.

The makeup artist added her stint on the show meant she had been away from her family for a prolonged period of time and it was beginning to take its toll.

‘Our baby’s not well at home, and I’m not there. To be honest I just want to go to sleep,’ she admitted.

Her husband Ryan said her stress had been gradually building across her stint on the show.

‘Your son gets sick, you’re sleep deprived, you get to a point where you are going to crack it. Rach is at that point,’ he said.

Fortunately, she managed to find some solace by confiding in series foreman Keith.

‘It would be tough, but you’re doing a bloody good job,’ he told the blonde.

It follows Rachel slamming the judges last week for her team’s ‘unfair’ placement in the competition.

Rachel and her husband Ryan said on Monday’s episode they felt like they were falling behind, despite everyone saying their bathroom was the best.

She suggested the judges were playing favourites due to their money situation looking tight.
