Rosario Dawson transforms into Ahsoka Tano in a stunning concept design for the second season of the Star Wars series The Mandalorian.
During the season two premiere of The Mandalorian, fans were introduced to Cobb Vanth, a character who hails from the recent expansion of canon Star Wars novels. At the end of the episode, we also caught a glimpse at Temuera Morrison’s return as Boba Fett, but these two aren’t the only familiar Star Wars characters expected to appear in the second season of the Disney Plus series. It’s been widely reported that Marvel star Rosario Dawson will be taking Ahsoka Tano into live-action and appear at some point this season.
Disney has seemingly confirmed that Rosario Dawson will be in The Mandalorian, but only time will tell for what kind of a role she plays in Din Djarin and Baby Yoda’s story. As we await for Ahsoka Tano’s live-action debut, digital artist Raf Grassetti has shared his stunning concepts of both Rosario Dawson as the beloved character from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Darth Maul wielding the Darksaber, a weapon we will see more of in The Mandalorian season two. The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, and Carl Weathers with Rosario Dawson rumored to be playing Ahsoka Tano and Timothy Olyphant cast in a currently undisclosed role. The upcoming series is set to be directed by series creator Jon Favreau, executive producer Dave Filoni, alongside fellow season one directors Rick Famuyiwa and Bryce Dallas Howard. Ant-Man director Peyton Reed will also helm at least one episode as will star Carl Weathers and Sin City director Robert Rodriguez.
