TLC delighted crowds at Glastonbury on Friday. 

And fans were left stunned by the youthful appearance of Rozonda Chilli Thomas, 51, and Tionne T-Boz Watkins, 52, as the iconic R&B group belted out their famous hits.

The 90s girl group took to the West Holts stage at early in the evening, where they delighted fans with their songs, with viewers at home tweeting their disbelief over the singers’ ageless looks.

American hip hop trio TLC were formed in Atlanta in 1991, and went on to have a string of hits including Waterfalls, No Scrubs and Unpretty.

TLC were best known as a trio, however third member Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes tragically died aged 30 in a road collision in 2002.

But Chilli and T-Boz did their late bandmate proud with their sensational Glastonbury set, performing the most loved songs in coordinating metallic silver ensembles. 

One person tweeted: ‘Me watching TLC at #Glastonbury and realising those girls ain’t aged in 25 years!’ with another adding: ‘Chilli not aged a day since 1995 man #TLC #Glastonbury.’

‘Calming myself watching TLC on Glastonbury. Loving that Chilli hasn’t changed her face or her clothes since 2002,’ commented someone else. 

One fan wrote: ‘Watching the TLC Glastonbury performance. Chilli legit looks like she’s in her 20s. It’s insane.’ 

‘Chilli has not aged a jot?! #TLC #Glastonbury (they both look fabulous, but she looks as those she’s popped in a time machine from the 90s),’ insisted someone else.

The band were rocked in 2002 when member Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes tragically died in a road collision. TLC continued as a duo.

And in 2020 – almost 18 years after the loss of the rapper – TLC singer Chilli told how there was ‘never ever a thought’ to replace the late star in the group.

Speaking on GMB, she said: ‘We heard from so many people, in the business, that surprised us more than anything. The fans, not so much.

‘It was never ever a thought to replace her, no one in TLC can be replaced. Nobody can fill those shoes.’

She went on to explain that while she and T-Boz were adament that there would be no new members, it took some time for others to see their point of view.

Chilli added: ‘It took a while for people to get it. But through touring it keeps her memory alive, we never mute out her raps or anything.’
