Too Handle to Handle stars Robert Van Tromp and Christina Carmela are still going strong seven months after being booted off the hit Netflix show for romping on set, with Robert revealing that the pair are looking to locate somewhere ‘a bit more classy’ than London, where they’re currently based.
Speaking on FUBAR radio to hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on Thursday, Robert, 29, said on air that he and Christina, 30, are ‘looking at potentially moving to Milan’, adding that they hope to ‘have a change of scenery’.
Robert admitted that Christina – who hails from Cape Town, South Africa, and is half-Italian and half-Portuguese – has fuelled his desire to move abroad, explaining: ‘The last two years I’ve pretty much been travelling around anyway, and the fact that I’ve now got an exotic international girlfriend – it’s even more of a reason to go abroad!’

Adding that he and Christina have their eyes on Milan as it’s ‘a little bit different to London’, Robert also touched upon his post-show relationship with his fellow Too Hot To Handle contestants.
‘We have a WhatsApp group with me and the three other lads. Me, Cam [Holmes], Nathan [Webb] and Pete [Vigilante] are probably the closest boys,’ he revealed.
‘They were like my brothers in there!’ the TV star gushed.
Describing his experience in the sprawling Turks and Caicos villa as ‘awesome’, Robert went on: ‘Sleeping next to Christina and having Cam on the other bed, and then Nathan on the other bed… it was like being away with your mates and your girlfriend.

‘It was such a cool experience, and that’s the best way I can describe it, like one big slumber party in the Caribbean, it was just awesome.’
During the series, contestants had to try and refrain from having any intimate contact with each other for four weeks.
Unable to keep their hands off each other, Robert and Christina were eliminated during episode eight having cost everyone £5,800 ($8,000).
It comes after South African pilot Christina revealed she and boyfriend Robert are very much in love and their intimacy is stronger than ever.

Speaking this month in her first UK interview, Christina told MailOnline she believes producers ended her time on Too Hot to Handle early because they grew tired of her and Robert’s ‘canoodling’, and claims so much of their relationship wasn’t shown on the final edit.
She said: ‘We still can’t keep our hands off each other. I’m really open about sex and obviously he has the nicest penis I have ever seen. He’s got big d*** energy already but he doesn’t have to show it off.
‘Besides the show and everything else he is the kindest human I have ever dated. He is so considerate, he wants to do everything to make me happy, and I used to walk over someone like that but he just keeps me entertained.
Loved-up: It comes after South African pilot Christina revealed she and boyfriend Robert are very much in love and their intimacy is stronger than ever
‘You’re in the villa, waking up and eating breakfast, lunch and dinner together, using one shower, the same toilet, with all these people. Without the villa, I probably would never be dating him but one day in there is like a month outside and we built that strong connection.
‘It’s not like I went for the easy option, I spoke to every one of the guys in there, even Cam and I, we had a great date but he’s not enough, but as soon as I started chatting to Robert about what countries we’ve been to and our plans for the future, our plans were just aligning.’
The couple were turfed off the retreat after Lana, the robot that monitors any sexual activity between contestants that have been banned from being intimate, concluded their relationship wasn’t going to grow further than initial attraction.
Christina believes she and British-born Robert were misjudged and their romance has already withstood the test of the time.
She explained: ‘They didn’t even show half the stuff. We got p***ed off because we had a microphone around us 24/7, I thought they got sick of us having all this canoodling talk all the time, being in each other’s faces, we were always together, always speaking sexual things, we were so lovey dovey and I thought maybe they kicked us off because they were tired of hearing us go on and on, but obviously it wasn’t because of that.
‘We filmed the series almost seven months ago, in December time. It was a long time to know what happened and go through again everything we experienced.
‘That’s also what brought Rob and I closer together, as soon as we got kicked out we were on the plane back together and I just looked at him and said ”listen what are your plans?” because it was summer time in Cape Town and that’s why I wasn’t too upset to leave as well and he just looked at me and said ”well I have no plans” because he has worked really hard in his life and he made enough money to travel for the next three years.

‘So, then he said ”f*** it, I’m coming to Cape Town with you” and then he came and he joined me for Christmas, New Year, my birthday, Valentine’s Day, he was with me for four months.’
Christina confirmed she is bisexual, and boyfriend Robert is ‘understanding’ of her sexuality, which has only made their connection stronger.
She explained: ‘On the show I said I wanted to kiss Emily and I am bisexual. He’s not at all jealous, he’s so confident; we’re just open and honest the entire time. He’s so understanding, I’m so understanding.
‘We talk everyday, I’m the least jealous person and so is he. Honestly, that’s why I love him so much. Nothing bothers him, which is amazing, I love it. Even when we’re outside having something to eat and a really gorgeous girl walks past and I’m like ”wow, look at her” and he really likes it. We’re just so chilled with that kind of thing.’

Christina has no regrets over the way she behaved on the show, including performing a sexual act on Robert, which resulted in thousands being deducted from the cast’s prize fund.
She revealed Parisian Marvin Anthony tried to seduce her in the bedroom during unaired scenes, despite being romantically connected to Melinda Melrose, who he later went on to have sex with.
‘I used to think about this every single day, in the two months after I left’, Christina said.
‘For me, I’m so happy with how I acted because I kept to who I am. Yes, if I went for Marvin, I would have stayed or if I fought for Cam, I would have stayed or if I chose Marvin in the beginning, but I stayed true to myself.
‘Marvin, there was a part they didn’t show where he tried to pull me into the bedroom to kiss me behind everyone’s backs, but I was like that’s such a turn off. I give guys one chance with me because there are so many. I would have broken more rules with Robert for sure.’
