Tori Spelling may have been trying to send a not so subtle message in a recent social media post.
The actress, 50, who has split from husband Dean McDermott, took to Instagram Stories Thursday to showcase her toned abs in a white short sleeve crop top and a pair of red sweatpants with the words ‘Boys Lie’ written on one leg.
The photo also appeared to be part of one of the Beverly Hills 90210 alum’s partnership deals as she scrolled ‘@boyslie thank you for the sweats,’ followed by a heart emoji.
Tori completed the look with black Converse high top sneakers, a stack of thick gold necklaces and a black cap over her long, blonde hair.
Her makeup looked natural with a soft pink lip.
The Rapscallion Romance star, who has reportedly suffered some financial setbacks in recent months, has been working to recoup some of her fortunes.
Last weekend she took part in the QVC Non-stop Holiday Party, showing off her crafting skills.
‘Not only do I believe that homemade equals love but I feel that crafting gives me a creative outlet and making things with my hands has always been my jam,’ she wrote about the experience on Instagram.
She seemed to be sending another subtle message, penning, ‘I feel like in some years past I had let the DIY ME of it all dim down. The creative fire.’

The Mystery Girls star may have been sparking more than a ‘creative fire’ recently.
She seems to have moved on to a new relationship with with ad exec Ryan Cramer, according to a source quoted by US Weekly.
Dean, 56, has moved on as well, with businesswoman Lily Calo.
Tori’s new flame resembles her ex, but that doesn’t seem to bother her.
An insider previously told the outlet that she and Ryan crossed paths via work ‘several months ago and she thought he was very charming and handsome.
‘Tori is really excited about the new relationship and it doesn’t bother her that people say he looks a lot like Dean,’ the source claimed.
A separate source told the outlet that the newly single Tori was ‘having a blast’ early on dating the ad exec, who ‘makes her feel energized and happier than she’s been in a long time.’
The source added, ‘Things got so toxic with Dean, she was walking around in a fog.’
The insider claimed the two exes were trying to be ‘cordial,’ but things were ‘icy’ between them.
Dean announced in June on Instagram that he and his wife of nearly two decades were ending their relationship.
‘It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways and start a new journey of our own,’ the actor said.
The pair share Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, six. Dean is also father to son, Jack, 25, whom he shares with ex, Mary Jo Eustace, 61.
He added: ‘We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time. We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this.’
