A teenage boy has died after being found injured on a Melbourne street.
Emergency services were called to the Chichester Drive in Taylors Lakes at about 6.55pm lat night, but despite their best efforts, the young victim died at the scene.
The identity of the boy has yet to be formally established.
Police investigators believe he may have been the victim of a hit-and-run.
‘Police are working to establish the exact circumstances of the incident, and the investigation is ongoing,’ a Victoria Police statement said.
Two other boys, also involved in the incident, were rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
