Travis Barker made a loving display while connecting with his baby son in a video he posted to Instagram on Thursday.
The 47-year-old Blink-182 drummer showed off his professional talents during a hospital visit as he appeared to drum along to his son’s heartbeat.
In Travis’ clip, he sat just out of frame while his tattooed hands and brilliant white drum sticks were visible.
He had brought along a drum pad, a quieter surface intended for practicing, and he practiced his rudiments while lining up the accented hit with each whoosh of the heartbeat.
However, it wasn’t clear if the clip was shot prior to Kourtney giving birth, or if he had filmed it more recently while his son was present in the hospital.
Travis and his wife were spotted leaving the hospital where she gave birth on Tuesday, but it wasn’t immediately clear if they were able to bring baby Rocky home with them or if he had remained their for the time being.
The pop-punk star didn’t make any commentary on his clip and simply showed off his drumming.
Later on Thursday, he shared photos and a video to his Insta Stories that appeared to be an advertisement for the wallet maker Ridge.
The company makes metal RFID-blocking wallets, and in a subsequent video he showed himself placing one on top of a carry-on roller suitcase from the came maker.
In the clip, he walked into a room past a kitchenette area and slapped the wallet down on top of the matching suitcase.
‘Best carry-on I’ve ever owned,’ he declared, before taking a seat at a practice set of drum pads and beginning to whack away.
Whether or not their has been able to come home with his parents yet, Travis and Kourtney will be ready for his arrival thanks to their pricy baby registry.
This will be the second child for Barker, who already has two children — Landon, 20, and Alabama, 17 — with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 48.
He’s also the stepfather to model Atiana De La Hoya, Moakler’s daughter with boxer Oscar De La Hoya, and he reportedly considers her like a daughter after primarily raising her during periods when De La Hoya was absent.
Kourtney already has three children with her former partner Scott Disick: sons Mason, 13, and Reign, eight, as well as her daughter Penelope, 11.
It was a long and difficult journey for the musician and the reality star to welcome their first child together, which followed two years of trying to conceive.
Kourtney underwent several rounds of IVF treatments — which were documented on The Kardashians — but surprisingly it wasn’t until she had given up on the treatments late in 2022 that she finally got pregnant.
She called the shocking outcome ‘God’s plan.’
But her joy turned to horror in September, when she revealed that she went through a ‘terrifying’ fetal surgery to help save her unborn child’s life.
Since giving birth, a source told People that Kourtney is ‘happy to just be able to snuggle her baby boy now’ and ‘feels so blessed.’
