Two people were shot Tuesday afternoon inside a building at the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center campus in central Vancouver.
The conditions of the man and woman were unavailable Tuesday evening; they had both been transported to the main hospital for treatment, Vancouver police Officer Ilia Botvinnik said at the scene.
Authorities have not confirmed if one of the wounded people is the shooter, but police said there is no threat to the public.
There were no other injuries associated with the shooting.
Vancouver police were called shortly before 1 p.m. for a reported disturbance with a weapon at the Medical Center Physician’s Building, 505 N.E. 87th Ave. The building, north of the main hospital, houses several outpatient medical offices.
