A U.S. military aircraft crashed on Friday night over the eastern Mediterranean during a training operation.
The unspecified aircraft ‘suffered a mishap and went down’, said U.S. European Command (EUCOM) in a statement.
The Stuttgart, Germany-based division did not say whether there were casualties, but said the aircraft did not crash as a result of any attack.
