Shocking footage has emerged of the moment a pair of thieves brandishing a knife and handgun break into a suburban home in a brazen attempted armed robbery.
One thief, wearing a bandana, gloves and a mask over his nose and mouth, crouches over a woman and appears to pull back the slide on his pistol.
The terrified woman trembles against the wooden fence as he aims the weapon at what appears to be another occupant to the right of frame before getting up and walking in that direction.
The second thief, dressed in a hoodie, shorts and backpack, then steps forward around open boxes of car speakers on the ground and menacingly holds a knife out over the woman as she cowers and put her hands over her head.

The first thief then walks back into frame and the pair quickly flee empty handed through the gate to the property’s yard.
Queensland Police confirmed the attempted robbery occurred about 9.30pm on Sunday in Waterford West, near Logan about 20 minutes south of Brisbane.
‘Two men armed with a handgun and knife, entered an address on Mark Lane and assaulted a 23-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, while demanding property,’ a spokesperson said.
‘After a short struggle, the two men fled on foot towards Chambers Flat Road.’
At one point the intruder with the gun appears to pull back the slide on the pistol which chambers a round (pictured)
The men are both described as being slim, and were both wearing shorts, long sleeve tops and face coverings.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who recognises the men, who witnessed the incident, or has dash cam footage from the area on that night.
The investigation is ongoing.
