Wendy Williams sparkles again! Talk show star, 58, glows in glittering jumpsuit and reveals she ‘can’t wait to fall in love’ as she bounces back after rehab
Wendy Williams is looking on the bright side and admitted that she was more than ready for love during a live interview with New York’s 107.5 Circle of Sisters event earlier Monday.
The TV personality, 58, was energized and in high spirits as she returned to the public eye and happily revealed she ‘can’t wait’ to bring a new man into her life.
The talented broadcaster notably checked into a rehab facility earlier this year in September due to a relapse with alcohol, which had ultimately caused the star to face health issues.

‘Can’t wait’: Amid her interview, the broadcaster revealed to the audience that she ‘can’t wait to fall in love’
The star looked healthy and glowing as she sat comfortably on stage amid her former radio station’s annual Circle of Sisters event in the big apple, which is celebrating ’20 years as the original Black female empowerment expo,’ according to the official website.
Wendy dazzled in a glittering, dark gray jumpsuit that was tied in the front with a belt made of the same fabric and sparkling details.
To stay warm in the chilly, fall weather, the talk show host slipped into a favorite pair of large, fuzzy black boots.
She excitedly chatted to the audience in short videos that were uploaded onto the radio station’s main Instagram page capturing special moments.
Now and then: Wendy looked in good spirits as she headed to a photoshoot for her podcast in NYC on Monday. The star, who has spoken openly about her health concerns including lymphedema and Graves’ disease, smiled as she linked arms with a companion, three months after sparking concern with her trim frame and disorientated behavior (pictured right)
As she interviewed under the bright lights of the stage, Wendy gushed to the audience that, ‘I can’t wait to fall in love.’
The star admitted, however, that she doesn’t ‘want to get married,’ but did explain what she was looking for in a man.
‘I want him to already have kids. I want him to be some place around my age, maybe 10 years younger than me, maybe 15 years older than me, you know what I mean,’ the TV personality expressed to the crowd and interviewer, JusNik.
‘Then, we’ll be able to do things together like we want to all of the sudden fly from New York City, if want to fly to France to be there from two days to have food or whatever.’
Other plans: Despite her revealing she was ready for love, the TV personality added that she doesn’t ‘want to get married’
Her ideal man: When talking about what she was looking for, Wendy stated, ‘I want him to already have kids,’ and, ‘I want him to be some place around my age’
Wendy was previously married to her first husband, Bertrand Girigorie, from 1994 but their divorce was finalized shortly after in 1995.
She tied the knot once again in 1999 to Kevin Hunter, whom she shares her 22-year-old son with. The couple divorced twenty years later in 2019 after he had a baby daughter with his mistress Sharina Hudson.
During the panel, an audience member had a chance to share kind words to Wendy, along with sharing admiration for the star’s strength, stating, ‘there are millions of us standing behind you.’
As Williams listened, she could be seen holding back tears as the crowd erupted into a round of applause.
‘I have tears of laughter but also sincere tears. Just…thank you all for being here today,’ the broadcaster emotionally stated with a tremor to her voice.

Wendy was released from a wellness facility last month after checking in earlier in September after a relapse with alcohol abuse. Fans had expressed their concern for the star’s health early on due to her thin frame and disoriented exchanges.
In October, after the star had left the wellness facility, a representative informed E! News, ‘Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects.’
The statement continued with, ‘She wants to say, ‘Thank you to my fans for your love, support and many prayers, I am back and better than ever.’
The Wendy Williams Show, that aired for a whopping 14 seasons, premiered its final episode earlier in June. Sherri Shepherd, who had filled in for Wendy during the last season due to the star’s medical issues, took over the time slot with her own show simply titled, Sherri.
Despite her beloved series coming to an end, the former host has been working on her latest podcast project called, The Wendy Williams Experience.
