A driver was arrested after leading police on a car chase with her five-year-old son in the passenger seat.
Jazmine Renea Pratcher, from El Monte in Los Angeles, California, sped off when officers tried to pull her over for driving under the influence at around 2am on Monday.
Police followed Pratcher’s car for between 15 and 20 minutes as she drove over someone’s front lawn and crashed into a parked car, reports Whittier Daily News.

Seemingly craving the camera’s attention, she says ‘hey, is that the news?’ before being bundled into the back of a cop car
She then pulled into a motel and took her son into her arms as she tried to make a break for it.
Before she jumped out of the car, officers were completely unaware that the youngster was inside the vehicle.
Pratcher, 26, went into one of the rooms where her eight-year-old daughter had been left unattended.
