Charlene White joked about being less popular than Matt Hancock as she appeared on the I’m A Celebrity Coming Out Show on Thursday night.

The Loose Women presenter, 42, was the first to be evicted from the Jungle while former Health Secretary Matt, 44, stayed in until the penultimate day finishing in fourth place.

The Coming Out show followed each star as they left the jungle and travelled back to the hotel to be reunited with friends and family.

First out was Charlene who was greeted by her sister Carina who didn’t waste time telling her she wasn’t smelling great.

They soon called their dad who said he thought Matt would be the first person voted out by the public.

Charlene then laughed: ‘It turns out I’m less popular than Matt Hancock Dad, who knew?!’

Carina then revealed she wanted to see her sister take on a Bushtucker Trial and had even voted for Charlene to do an eating one.

In reaction Charlene laughed and said: ‘Oh my god if you can’t trust your family, who can you trust?’ as Carina giggled.

All the friends and family greeted Charlene at the 5-star hotel with big hugs.

Later she walked into her hotel room she realised from her window she could see the building she’d completed The Ledge on – which was her first trial that saw her suspended from a ledge at the top of a tall building.

After receiving a hero’s welcome when she returned to civilisation post-jungle, Jill admitted she spent the day bathing in an effort to remove the jungle stench.

After a day of pampering, the sports star got glammed up and looked effortlessly chic in a one-shouldered black jumpsuit that she paired with sensible yet stylish white trainers.

The former footballer swept her brunette locks back into a neat high ponytail, and completed the look with a pair of small gold hopped earrings and a selection of dainty charm bracelets.

Discussing smart attire in camp, he explained: ‘I love a suit. My problem with suits is I over exaggerate dancing at weddings… I rip a lot of suits, trousers and stuff.

‘The old sl*t drop gets me every time. I went to a wedding, ripped a suit, they were like, ‘Oh my God, what are you going to do?’ I was like, ‘Don’t worry I’ve got a spare.’

‘They were like, ‘Who brings a spare suit?’ Someone who rips a lot of trousers brings a spare suit.’

He added: ‘Zara had like a 30th birthday, it was a disco 70s themed one, I was dancing on the dance floor, I had like flares on, full outfit but it was quite tight, nothing ever fits – rugby player’s bum and legs – so I was dancing with my mother-in-law and I did a sl*t drop in front of my mother-in-law.’

Mike, who shares children Mia, eight, Lena, four, and Lucas, one, with Zara, continued: ‘Ripped my trousers, straight in front of her. It happened to be that my boxers that I had on at that time said ‘nibble my nuts’.’

Her first priority after leaving the jungle was one of basic hygiene, as she quipped: ‘It’s taken two showers and two baths just to smell half-decent!’. She added that she doesn’t have any plans for what she will do next with her career.

As campmates were not allowed any information from or contact with the outside world, Jill revealed she was excited to catch up on England’s progress in the World Cup.

She said: ‘I have missed the World Cup so much. Me and Owen were begging for the scores and they kept saying ‘we can’t tell you’! I think they’re going to be fine against Wales. I have every confidence. I’m a massive Phil Foden fan!’

Speaking to MailOnline after her crowning, Jill Scott says she can’t wait to marry her fiancée and admits being apart from her longterm love in the I’m A Celeb camp was ‘difficult.’

The former Lioness admitted the toughest challenge was going a month without any contact from her girlfriend Shelly Unitt and says without her unwavering support, surviving the Australian camp wouldn’t have been possible.

After England’s Euro 2022 triumph and reigning victorious on I’m A Celeb, Jill says her ‘next plan is to get wed’ and following the couple’s 2020 engagement it’s about time they ‘get some planning in place.’

Jill retired from football in August at the age of 35 after the last of her 170 international appearances came in the Euro 2022 final.

She was immediately snapped up by ITV bosses to star in I’m A Celeb, which returned to its native Australia for the first time in two years.

After living life in the moment and following her mantra ‘Step by step, day by day, mile by mile’, which she has tattooed on her wrist, Jill admits she doesn’t necessarily have a career plan now.

But she does aspire to present the Women’s World Cup coverage in Australia next year, giving her the perfect opportunity to return Down Under.

I’m A Celeb’s Coming Out special will air on ITV on Thursday,  December 1 at 9:15pm.
