Frenchville stabbing: Woman allegedly knifed in neck in suspected domestic violence attack in Rockhampton

A woman has allegedly been stabbed multiple times in the neck and a man charged with attempted murder in a suspected domestic violence attack.
The 38-year-old woman was found with serious wounds at a house in Frenchville in Rockhampton, Queensland, at 7pm on Sunday.
She was rushed to Rockhampton Hospital and remains in a serious condition.
Police were called to the Constantia Crescent home after reports someone had been wounded.
She was located badly injured inside a home, which was declared a crime scene, with ‘multiple stab wounds’.
A 52 year old man was charged with one count of attempted murder (domestic violence).
It is understood both the injured woman and the alleged attacker were residents of the same home.
The man is due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Monday.
