A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another woman was found dead at her home.
Officers were called by the ambulance service to a report of a woman in cardiac arrest at around 5:15pm on Saturday.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene at an address in Gorwell Road, Barnstaple, Devon.
Devon and Cornwall Police has launched an investigation and arrested a 32-year-old woman from the Barnstaple area on suspicion of murder.
The force are trying to locate the victim’s next of kin.
Officers remain at the scene on Gorwell Road, and enquiries are ongoing.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen something to get in touch with any information.
