However, its gross receipts fell off dramatically in what was, according to THR.com, ‘a grim weekend’ for theaters.

The outlet reported that total revenue fell by 93 percent compared to the same weekend in pre-pandemic 2020. 

Wonder Woman 1984 took in another $3 million, down 47 percent week on week.

The Gal Gadot starrer has now grossed a cumulative $32.6 million domestically. 

The superhero movie was also released by Warner Bros. simultaneously on streaming platform HBO Max.
