That’s one way to take your dog for a walk! Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield sports a face full of makeup as she enjoys a stroll with her new pet pooch Walter in Sydney

Abbie Chatfield recently adopted a new pet pooch after her beloved dog Marco died.

And on Tuesday, the former Bachelor star turned podcaster was seen doting over her new rescue pup Walter as she took him for a walk in Sydney.

Abbie was dolled up for the outing, sporting a face full of makeup after having been on set all day to shoot a new campaign for her clothing label Verbose.

But Abbie kept things casual in the clothing department, wearing a black tracksuit complete with a jumper and matching sweat pants.

Abbie still had her makeup and hair styled from the photoshoot – a smoky winged eye and layers of bronzer.

Her blonde hair was pulled back and off her face into a high ponytail, complete with long hair extensions.

Despite her hectic work schedule, Abbie looked relaxed as she strolled around, playing on her phone and sipping from a reusable bottle.

At one point, she wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and picked up her dog’s droppings.

Just last week, Abbie revealed she had adopted Walter after her pet pooch Marco had to be put down.

‘I’m so happy to have a little best friend again. No poochie will ever replace my angel Marco, but I’ve been searching for a dog for a while who I can give endless love to!!! And I finally found him,’ she wrote.

‘Little Wally Has such a different personality to Marco but is equally as gorgeous.

‘He had to be rehomed due to no fault of his own or his amazing past owner, he just wasn’t getting along with another dog in the house and it was causing a lot of stress and heart ache. I’m so lucky to have found him.’

In June, Abbie revealed she and her boyfriend, Konrad Bień-Stephen, had to put their dog to sleep.

She posted to Instagram to post a memorial post for her beloved Marco, an adopted cocker spaniel.

There was a range of images commemorating Marco alongside a sweet and emotional caption, requesting everyone has some roast chicken in Marco’s memory.
