After their success revamping a tired 1980s motel in the nearby town of Maroochydore into the ultra-luxe Loea Boutique Hotel, the creative pair set their sights on the 1905-built Rosedale transforming it into the Malney Lodge that stands today

Ms Pink used her keen eye for style to fill the rooms with antique-style furnishings, artworks and trinkets to revitalise the stunning property and create a tranquil and relaxing stay for its guests. 

‘It has been a very careful balance between preserving the distinctive heritage character of the property and renovating it for the ultimate in contemporary luxury,’ Mr Pink said. 

‘It’s all in the detail. Our seven individually designed bedrooms are not only beautiful, but we have designed them with the comfort of our guests in mind.’

The enchanting lodge just opened in May and is made up of four king rooms with private ensuites that are all named after the family members who once lived there as well as the main three-bedroom guest house
