Tips For Getting New Eve Outfits In ‘Stellar Blade’

As you start Stellar Blade, you may begin to wonder how you get some of those dozens of new outfits for Eve you’ve seen blasted all over the marketing and social media. It admittedly does start slow, but there are a ton of sources for these, and I think you will need some actual advice for collecting them.

This is not a comprehensive guide to where every single outfit is on the map, but many are not on the map, and you get them in other, often easier ways. So, some advice.

Maxing Vendors – The main way to get some early outfits is from Sister’s Junk, the main store in Xion. There are some there at baseline, but as you rank up the shop by spending money there, there will be more available. When you finish the entire Sister’s Junk quest there will be one more outfit you automatically get.

Crafting Currency – Speaking of Sister’s Junk, every pattern you get is going to require a bunch of specific materials. While these materials can be found in the wild, Sister’s Junk sells an unlimited amount you can buy 99 at a time for gold. I got probably 95% of my resources this way, plus it levels her shop up. You will never be short on crafting currency in the game if you buy it here.

Info Dealer – This is a vendor that stands next to the bulletin board in town. Once you fully max her, you will have access to a special outfit from her, which I’d say is one of the more provocative ones, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Out in the Wild – In the different zones themselves is where most of the outfits will be, and while some are obvious, others are a few of the most well-hidden secrets in the game. The key thing here is scan, scan, scan. You are looking for small, rectangular chests which are different than the smaller chests that contain cosmetics. Some will contain earrings or glasses instead, but most are outfits.

The Cans – Collecting every hidden can in the game is out how you unlock one special outfit that is more or less lingerie, so that one will take a ton of work and probably a guide, as you would have to get insanely lucky to find them all without one. After like 50 hours in two playthroughs I’m still not even halfway there.

World Bosses – On occasion, you can get one from a world boss, which just happened in my NG+ playthrough. Also, NG+ adds several dozen new outfits. Some are recolors but others are brand new.

So, there’s some info to get you started on your outfit hunt. Enjoy. But not too much.
